4G Beerline Cleaner

A chlorinated alkaline detergent specifically formulated to clean plastic beer dispensing lines, used in the licensing trade. Regular treatment will keep lines remaining clear and reduce the possibility of fogging of the beer occurring.
  • Beerline Cleaner destroys yeast and bacteria which accumulate on plastic beer dispensing lines during normal usage.
  • Laboratory tests prove that Beerline Cleaner does not affect in any way the internal surface of nylon or polyethene beer dispensing lines.
  • The product will not adhere to the plastic line so tainting and head retention problems are totally eliminated.
  • The product contains chlorine stable organic sequestering agents which control the possibility of water scale formation and assist in soil penetration.

Technical Advice

  1. Draw the beer out of the line by flushing through with clean water.
  2. Make up in cold water a 1.2% solution of Beerline Cleaner.
  3. Draw the Beerline Cleaner solution through the beer line until the line system is completely full.
  4. Allow soaking for at least 30 minutes occasionally drawing the fresh solution through the line to assist the cleaning.
  5. After 30 minutes rinse the line system through with at least 3 rinses of clean water to ensure that all traces of Beerline Cleaner solution have been removed.
  6. The final rinse water can be tested with litmus paper to confirm all the product has been removed from the lines.
  7. The beer can then be reconnected to the line and drawn through, being ready for dispensing.

It is recommended that beer dispensing lines are cleaned every week on a regular basis to ensure that soil build-up is minimised.

Inhalation: Inhalation of vapour may cause shortness of breath. Move the exposed person to fresh air. Seek medical attention.

Eye contact: Causes burns. Causes severe inflammation and may damage the cornea. Wash with water. Seek medical attention.

Skin contact: Causes burns. Wash off immediately with plenty of soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing. Seek medical attention if irritation or symptoms persist.

Ingestion: Ingestion causes burns to the respiratory tract. DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and show this container or label.
