4T Detectable Beerline Cleaner

A chlorinated alkaline detergent with colour indicating additive specifically formulated to clean plastic beer dispensing lines, used in the licensing trade. Regular treatment will keep lines remaining clear and reduce the possibility of fogging of the beer occurring.
  • Beerline Cleaner destroys yeast and bacteria which accumulate on plastic beer dispensing lines during normal usage.
  • Laboratory tests prove that Beerline Cleaner does not affect in any way the internal surface of nylon or polyethene beer dispensing lines.
  • The product will not adhere to the plastic line so tainting and head retention problems are totally eliminated.
  • The product contains chlorine stable organic sequestering agents which control the possibility of water scale formation and assist in soil penetration.
  • Colour changing additive indicates the state of cleanliness in the beer lines.

Technical Advice

  1. Draw the beer out of the line by flushing through with clean water.
  2. Dilute to a concentration of 1% or 2.5% dependent on water hardness.
  3. Draw the solution through the dispense tap until the solution becomes purple.
  4. Leave to soak between 5 to 30 minutes depending on the level of soiling.
  5. Draw off the solution and check the colour.
  6. If the colour is not purple repeat the cleaning process until the purple colour is evident.
  7. Remove the cleaning solution by flushing the line with water until there is no trace of colour in the rinse water.

It is recommended that beer dispensing lines are cleaned every week on a regular basis to ensure that soil build-up is minimised.

Non-corrosive toward mild and stainless steel, polythene and polypropylene. Corrosive, both at user concentration or undiluted on aluminium, zinc, tin, copper and their common alloys.

Skin Contact: Causes burns. Wash off immediately with plenty of soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing. Seek medical attention if irritation or symptoms persist.

Ingestion: Ingestion causes burns to the respiratory tract. DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and show this container or label.
