  • Destroys tannin deposits instantly.
  • As normal detergents have to be used at higher concentrations to remove tannin deposits, the introduction of a Machine Destainer into the dishwashing machine enables conventional detergents to be used at lower concentrations.

Technical Advice

  • Machine Destainer must be used in conjunction with a balanced dishwashing detergent.
  • Dishwashing machines of the multi-tank e.g. flight type will benefit from the use of Machine Destainer.
  • For automatic dosing only – use only with dispenser.
  • The recommended dosage is dependent on the volume of water passing through the machine but a level of Machine Destainer as low as 200 ppm to 500 ppm will give effective tannin control.
  • The concentration used, recommended injection sequence, and operating temperatures, are determined individually by your local representative.

Solubility: Fully miscible in water

  • Non-corrosive towards mild and stainless steel, polyethene, polypropylene and crockery.
  • Corrosive, both at user concentration or undiluted on aluminium, zinc, tin, copper and their common alloys.

Inhalation: Move the exposed person to fresh air. Seek medical attention.

Eye contact: Causes serious eye damage. Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Immediately call a POISON CENTER/doctor/ .

Skin contact: Irritating to skin. Wash off immediately with plenty of soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing. Seek medical attention if irritation or symptoms persist.

Ingestion: Ingestion may cause nausea and vomiting. Seek medical attention if irritation or symptoms persist. DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING.
