Technical Advice

General Use

  • Dilute 1 tablet with 5 litres of water.
  • Apply with a mop, sponge, cloth or spray bottle.
  • Allow 3 minutes contact time before cleaning and rinsing with fresh water.

Heavy-duty cleaning

  • Apply with a mop, sponge, cloth or spray bottle.
  • Allow 5 minutes contact time before cleaning and rinsing with fresh water.

Salad/Vegetable Washing

  • Dilute 1 tablet in 20L of cold water.
  • Ensure tablet is fully dissolved before adding salad/vegetables.
  • Allow 10 minutes contact time.
  • Remove from the solution and rinse thoroughly in potable water.

Solubility: Fully miscible in water

Chlorine tablet solutions are safe to use on most materials found in the food and beverage industries including stainless and galvanized steels, and commonly occurring plastics. Compatibility with other materials should be checked prior to use.

Safety Specification

H319 Causes serious eye irritation.

H335 May cause respiratory irritation.

H410 Very toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects.

Inhalation: Inhalation of vapour may cause shortness of breath. Move the exposed person to fresh air. Seek medical attention.

Eye Contact: Causes burns. Causes severe inflammation and may damage the cornea. Wash with water. Seek medical attention.

Skin Contact: Causes burns. Wash off immediately with plenty of soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing. Seek medical attention if irritation or symptoms persist.

Ingestion: Ingestion causes burns to the respiratory tract. DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and show this container or label.
