10A Limescale Remover

Limescale Remover is an acidic cleaner for the removal of limescale from kitchen equipment, utensils and dishwashing machines.
  • Fast effective removal of limescale.
  • A concentrated blend of inorganic acids and non-ionic surfactants.
    Suitable for removing hard water scales and other inorganic deposits from dishwashers, coffee/tea urns, vending machines and other water-using equipment.

Technical Advice

Descaling

  1.  Add solution to the article to be cleaned, for best results heat the solution to 50°C.
  2.  Leave to soak until all scale has been removed.
  3.  Rinse out thoroughly with clean water.
  4.  To ensure no product residue remains a further second rinse is recommended.

Dishwashing machine descaling 

  1. Switch off dosing equipment
  2. Fill the dishwasher with fresh water.
  3. Add 200ml of Limescale Remover to the water.
  4. Circulate the solution for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Drain and inspect for complete limescale removal.
  6. Repeat if required.
  7. Fill the dishwasher with fresh water and circulate with water only for 10 – 15 minutes.
  8. Allow drying leaving the door open.
  9. Switch on dosing equipment.

Solubility: Fully miscible in water

Do not use on acid-sensitive surfaces, e.g. enamel, marble, grouting or tiles. Immediately remove any drips or splashes from acid-sensitive surfaces and rinse thoroughly with water. Do not mix with bleach or other cleaning products. Test material compatibility in a small, inconspicuous place before use.

Inhalation: Inhalation of vapour may cause shortness of breath. Move the exposed person to fresh air. Seek medical attention.

Eye contact: Causes burns. Causes severe inflammation and may damage the cornea. Wash with water. Seek medical attention.

Skin contact: Causes burns. Wash off immediately with plenty of soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing. Seek medical attention if irritation or symptoms persist.

Ingestion: Ingestion causes burns to the respiratory tract. DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and show this container or label.
